An occupational therapist can help your child to:

Services for schools
Lifestart occupational therapists are available to work within schools and early childhood settings to assist with participation and inclusion in routines and classroom activities, equipment, sensory processing, play and social interactions, emotional regulation, fine motor skills, seating and positioning, and self-care activities.

Larisa
- Graduated from Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy.
- Experienced in providing tailored support to children, young adult and their family across home, school, community and clinic settings, addressing areas such as sensory processing and integration, developing fine and gross motor coordination, enhancing emotional self-regulation, fostering social engagement, and promoting independence in daily activities like self-care, play, and productivity tasks.
- Passionate about working closely with parents and caregivers, helping them build confidence and strategies to support their child and young person’s progress at home and in everyday life.
- Completed training in the Foundation Coach Approach and the Keyworker Approach to provide a holistic, person- and family-centred support and therapy.
- Outside of work, I enjoy reading, watching movies, and spending quality time with friends and family.
