Parents and carers of children with disabilities and developmental delay are invited to participate in our Toilet Training program. You will work with Lifestart Occupational Therapists to:
- understand the stages and skills in the toileting journey
- learn ways to help your child progress towards toileting independence
- discuss practical strategies to overcome common barriers
- support your child’s toileting success
What will it involve?
The program includes 3 online parent group sessions and 2 individual online sessions.
Is it suitable for me?
The Toilet Training: Learning Together program is for children aged 2-6 years who are about to start or have already started on their toileting journey. The information is suitable for children with disabilities or developmental delays. Your children are not required at the group sessions but can be present at the individual sessions.
You will need access to a computer, lap-top, tablet or phone to access Zoom.
