Supports for Young People and Young Adults

What do we offer?

We support young people and young adults aged up to 24 years to increase their skills for independence and community participation.

We provide flexible, person-centred supports to meet each young person or young adult’s individual goals.

Our multidisciplinary teams consist of specialist professionals who are experienced in supporting young people and young adults living with disability including:

• speech pathologists
• occupational therapists
• physiotherapists
• behaviour specialists
• social workers and psychologists
• educators.

We work in partnership with families and carers. We provide individualised supports for young people and young adults in community settings, in places where they spend their time.

We may also use a key worker approach depending on the type of support required. A key worker is the person a young person, young adult and their family and carers will see and talk to most. They may be any one of our specialist professionals depending on the needs and goals of the young person or young adult.

Do we provide services in your area?

We provide supports for young people and young adults in the Sydney Metropolitan Area including – Western Sydney, Northern Sydney, Eastern Sydney, Southern Sydney, the Inner West and parts of South Western Sydney.

There are many options for where you can access supports including:

• at a Lifestart centre
• online
• we can come to you – to your home, school, workplace or somewhere else in the community.

What is the cost?

Costs vary depending on the service provided. You can use your NDIS funding package (we offer services under the NDIS support areas of Improved Daily Living and Improved Relationships) or pay privately.
