You can watch the video with your child, follow along if you have the book and copy the Key Word Signs and encourage your child to do the same.
Key Word Sign is used to encourage and support language development in children/adults with communication difficulties. It is not the same as a full translation or interpretation, although it does use Auslan signs. In Key word Sign we choose particular words (usually the important concepts and ideas) and pair the word with a hand sign. This helps support understanding and expression of those words.
