Are you looking for support for your child in developing communication or toilet training skills?
You can join other families for our group programs coming up in the next few months, which provide you with practical strategies to work with your child. These programs are a great way to work on your child’s skills in a supportive environment with other families and qualified therapists.
We have two programs coming up in the next few months.
More Than Words: starting June 23
More Than Words is an internationally recognised, evidence-based program. Created specifically for parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or who experience other social communication difficulties, the More Than Words® Program provides you with practical strategies for addressing your child’s specific needs and building their communication and social skills during everyday routines and play.

Toilet Training: starting August 25
The Toilet Training: Learning Together program has been custom designed by our experienced Occupational Therapists. It is suitable for parents of children aged 2-6 years living with disability or developmental delay.
Parents and carers will work with Lifestart Occupational Therapists to:
- Understand the stages and skills in the toileting journey
- Learn ways to help your child progress towards toileting independence
- Discuss practical strategies to overcome common barriers
- Support your child’s toileting success.
The program includes three parent small group sessions and two individual sessions. You can pay for this program using your child’s NDIS funding.
