Presenting three sessions covering choosing the right high school, preparation and planning for a positive transition and building support during Year 7. Special guest Jaqueline Curry from Family Advocacy joins the session to share 12 years of experience and knowledge in the key areas of transition. Jacqueline brings tips around the importance of collaboration with a child’s school, knowledge of laws and policies applying in an educational space. Parents and carers can submit questions at registration.
In conjunction with this webinar series, Lifestart is offering dedicated short term supports to young people who will be moving into Year 7 in 2024.
These individual supports will involve the young person choosing and directing their own goals around transitioning and or settling into their new high school.
