Early Supports Lead
The Early Supports Lead plays a key role in supporting the Early Childhood Approach Team to deliver high-quality early supports services, ensuring alignment with best practice and NDIS standards. This position drives early supports initiatives by providing resources, coaching team members, and enhancing service delivery across the team.
What you’ll be doing
- Guiding the delivery of innovative, high-quality early supports across our team, promoting adaptability to maintain best practice and adhere to NDIS standards
- Assist in delivering the Performance Management Framework and achieving desired Early Supports outcomes, and supporting the ongoing implementation of Lifestart’s Early Supports Delivery Plan.
- Review, adapt, and implement relevant policies and processes, providing coaching, upskilling, and resources to enhance team practice.
- Coordinate enhanced community of practice across service area regions and professional backgrounds
- Remain informed about current and future disability reforms
- Fosters positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- This role supports all Lifestart locations across New South Wales and travel to these sites will be required.
What we’re looking for
- Tertiary qualification in occupational therapy or speech pathology
- Demonstrated experience of providing early intervention services to children and families
- Proven ability implementing quality continuous improvements and driving practice standards
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, including building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Highly developed analytical thinking and problem-solving to make informed decisions. Capable of foreseeing challenges and finding solutions
- Strong organisational skills to efficiently manage competing priorities
- Strong technical proficiency using IT tools and systems including MS Office, Echidna and PACE
To be eligible, you must have the legal right to work in Australia, have (or willing to obtain) Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Check, Current Drivers Licence, reliable and insured vehicle to perform the role and be fully vaccinated for the COVID-19 virus (including 1x booster) or accepted medical exemption certificate.
