Recently, staff from our Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) team attended Hawkesbury Fest, a free community event by Hawkesbury City Council to launch Local Government Week – an annual week of events demonstrating local council’s involvement in the community. The event also celebrated the one-year anniversary of the accessible playground at Governor Phillip Park.
Staff had the opportunity to meet the local community and provide information about ECEI. The team ran an early childhood activity to promote play and development for young children, which was very popular among families.
